When I studied Make-up Artistry (very long time ago) I was taught to use the sea sponge to apply foundation, as the sea sponge does not soak up the foundation like the commonly used Latex wedges does. Only problem was I anyway have to use the latex wedge afterwards to blend the foundation on
the skin.
Later the Foundation brush appeared on the scene, and every one only used the Foundation brush. For a short while I also used the brush, but soon realised
that I still need to use a latex wedge to smooth out the foundation on the skin,
otherwise it still make streaks on the skin.  Then came the stippling brush. I liked this brush but the only problem with this brush was the fact that I struggled to build the foundation in areas you need more coverage, and then again to apply it thinner in other areas where you do not want to much foundation (ie. areas that are prone to fine lines)
When the Beauty Blender came on the market, I immediately went to buy one as I am always on the mission to achieve the perfect foundation application.

 I HAVE ACHIEVED IT!!!!

This little pink sponge is the best thing I have tried in ages, no wonder it has won the Allure Best of Beauty Award Winner
in 2007, 2008, 2011 and 2012.

Invented by top Hollywood make-up artist Rea Ann Silva, Beautyblender has been created to leave you with a  professional finish and a flawless complexion. Silva knows that the key to a perfect face is simple: a  perfect  blend. The ultimate makeup sponge applicator, Beautyblender's patent-pending elliptical shape was designed to help you apply makeup like a   pro. And its unique suede texture gives your complexion a flawless finish. So  forget your fingers or  sharp-edged triangular sponges, these application methods waste make up and can leave visible streaks.

Beautyblender is non-latex and hypoallergenic and odour free.

We should also pay attention to the color of the tan skin
